Who is Cristian Romero's wife?

Karen Cavaller is the wife of Atlético de Madrid and Argentina international Cristian Romero. She is from Córdoba in Argentina and keeps a low public profile: she has not pursued modelling or influencer work and rarely gives interviews.

The couple met in Córdoba in 2018 through mutual friends, when Romero was starting out as a professional, and he has said the attraction was immediate. That same year she moved with him to Italy when he joined Genoa, and she has since followed him through his Serie A clubs and on to Tottenham in London.

They married in 2020 in a small ceremony during the COVID-19 pandemic. In May 2024 Romero announced on social media that they were expecting their second child, and they have two children.
