Who is Alexander Sørloth's girlfriend?

Lena Selnes is the partner of Atlético de Madrid and Norway international Alexander Sørloth. She grew up in Alsvåg in northern Norway and studied to become a kindergarten teacher, later training as a special educator.

The couple met in Bodø and have been together since around 2016. In 2018, while Sørloth was at Crystal Palace, she split her time between London and Trondheim, describing them as "just ordinary people". By 2023 she was living with him in San Sebastián during his spell at Real Sociedad.

Selnes has called her life "a kind of double life", though she does not want to be seen as an influencer. The couple have two children. In July 2026, after Norway's World Cup quarter-final defeat to England, she shared screenshots of abusive messages sent to Sørloth, hoping people would think twice before writing such comments.
