Vanja Modrić is the wife of AC Milan footballer Luka Modrić.
Born Vanja Bosnić, she studied economics and worked at a Zagreb sports agency, which represented Modrić at Dinamo Zagreb. She has since acted as his representative; in 2018 Gazzetta dello Sport reported that she phoned Inter to ask whether they really wanted him.
They met through her work around 2004. In Modrić's account, a three-hour work phone call led to a coffee date in Zagreb, and they moved in together about six months later.
After a civil ceremony in Zagreb in 2010, they had a church wedding in the city in June 2011, which Modrić has reportedly called "one of the most beautiful moments" of his life. They have a son and two daughters, keep their private life largely out of view, and now live in Milan.
