Who is Lionel Messi's wife?

Antonela Roccuzzo is the wife of Inter Miami captain Lionel Messi. Born in Rosario in 1988, she studied dentistry and then social communication at the Universidad Nacional de Rosario, completing neither degree. Her family's business is the city's Único supermarket, which grew from a small shop opened in 1982.

She has built her own career as an influencer, with around 40 million Instagram followers, and has worked on campaigns with brands including Adidas, Stella McCartney, Gucci and Louis Vuitton. She is an ambassador for Tiffany & Co., supported a UNICEF Argentina campaign, and in 2014 launched the children's clothing brand Enfans with a cousin.

The pair first met as children in Rosario through her cousin, a youth teammate of his at Newell's Old Boys. They lost touch after he moved to Barcelona in 2000, reconnected in 2005 and became a couple around 2007–08. Messi confirmed he had a girlfriend on TV3's Hat Trick Barça in early 2009, and she later moved into his home near Barcelona.

They married at the City Center hotel in Rosario on 30 June 2017 and have three sons. After two years in Paris during his PSG spell, the family has lived in Miami since he joined Inter Miami in July 2023. They marked nine years of marriage during the 2026 World Cup in North America.
